We had already developed Chuck Eichner’s primary real estate site, but in addition he wanted a specialty niche real estate site that focused specifically on local homes with sailboat access to Charlotte Harbor. Punta Gorda Isles and other waterfront communities in the area have homes on canals that either don’t lead to the harbor, or fixed bridges are in the way between the home and the harbor. Many powerboats are able to pass underneath these fixed bridges, but sailboats with their tall masts typically can’t.

With the popularity of sailing in southwest florida, homes with sailboat access occupy a special niche. Chuck capitalizes on this niche with his Sailboat Home Listings website, which uses the same MLS IDX datafeed but pulls only homes with sailboat access for visitors to browse.
